| This is an Emerald Basilisk, the photo is taken out of a boat on Lake Caņo Negro near the frontier of Nicaragua. They are very difficult to spot out of a boat. Because the lake is surrounded by a lot of green. But this one was sitting on a leafless branch. It is amazing the green colour. Now I know why they call it emerald. |
