Hi Paul, this is very beautiful cat, with amazing markings! I have never seen this cat before. You are quite right about about the pelage, I hate the thoght of anyone killing this beautiful creature for its fur. I can understand why this was a hight point in your life!
You have photographed it perfectly, couldn't be any better. Excellent focus, exposure and sharpness. The POV is wonderful and all of the colours are stunning. It makes me gasp to look at it. Lucky you to meet it.

Hello Paul,
a beautiful portrait of the ocelot with a very impressive expression. Furthermore, the picture is brilliant and sharp and shows the cat in its nice natural colours. I have been in Costa Rica last year but was not fortunate to see a wild ocelot or another large cat.

I would give my right arm (Oh wait, I need it to use my camera) to have a chance to play with such a gorgeous cat, let alone play with him. Wonderful POV of the face straight-on. The details are sharp and well exposed, showing off the amazing markings on this magnificent specimen.

I've find a little bit time to browse through my fav TN galleries and I really wish I had more time to spend :-) There's loads of shots in yours I haven't seen yet and pretty much every single one deserves a decent critique.
Unfortunatelly I had to choose one but it wasn't easy :-)
This picture is really striking. First of all the eyes and calm expression of cats face. I really like it. It's fur looks so natural and is so nicely lighted that you really can't imagine showing it better. I love the patern of fur. It's really beautiful animal. The DOF is spot on and the dark BG works superb.
