Hello chris,
An superb capture of of a Nightingale Thrush (In sweden we have a Thrush Nightingale) with fine use of flash in the poor light. The quality including the sharpness is excellent: one wonders whether it would have been even better if you used your SLR?
Thanks for sharing a fine image of what must abe a first for the species on TN!

Hi Chris,
Excellent shot of this Nightingale Thrush and that eye looks amazing and gorgeous. Very impressive sharpness and details on its plumage and the red bill stands out nicely. Good use of flash lighting and I like this natural habitat. Great POV to portray it and very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hola Chirs.
Exelente manejo de flash. Muy agrdables colores de esta especie de Ave. Me gusta el color rojo de su pico y el anillo al derredor de sus ojos.
Saludos Chris.

I had similar thoughts, Chris; it must have been dark in the thick undergrowth of cloud forests and taking the picture of a bird in it would certainly require the use of flash.
You have used it judiciously in this wonderful shot. The entire bird is well lit and its best features -- the eye and the legs -- are very well captured in terms of details and colours.
Thanks for sharing yet another great picture from your trip.
Regards.

Hello Chris,
Excellent capture of this beautiful Thrush. It reminds me a little of a Pitabird skulking in the undergrowth! Good use of the flash, great focus and fine details. Wonderful colours too, the eye is fantastic!
Many thanks, Ulla
