Very interesting documentary picture. The lizard female in pregnat is not easy to "catch" I suppose. Anyway, please let know what is the size of this species?
POV, DOF, contrast and light are as alsways very good!

What a magnificent capture!
Not only did you manage to catch this cute little anole in a very nice pose, but you also show the fact that she is pregnant excellently! Terrific POV for this one and exceptional level of details on its body.
Also that pose of hers gave you great clearance in the head region, isolating it very well from the blurry BG.
The focus is spot-on, just like the exposure, and the shallow DOF works excellent in concentrating all the attention only on the lizard.
The charming and well saturated colors and tones complete this brilliant diagonal composition.

Wow! What a very cute Anolis!!! This image is just lovely to say the least! You did a remarkable composition but maybe with a smaller aperture the whole tail would have been in focus... The bg is awesome and I like very much your note noticing us of the presence of eggs...

Hi Paul,
amphibians are my favorite and you gave us already real nice pictures of them. But also reptiles are great animals. To be honest, I'd never heard of the border anole. But since the day that I'll go the central america for herpetofauna is getting closer, I'm already alerted for the species.
Fine color combination and composition.
