This is a nice bird who camouflages itself perfectly with its environment. Composition and exposure are superb with good choice of shutter speed that let us admire nice movements in the water. Thanks,

I sport of wish you could post the entire picture...not because it is bad..but becuase I would love to play with it...and am not sure why...also not because there is anything wrong...could you post the larger whole shot and let me play? I love to learn workshop...It is my final goal to acheive...

Other than that nonsense..you sure have the bird spot on...it looks as though not sure what to do...go in further or just sit still or be scared of.....it seems to be saying it doesn't know how to swim...or perhaps where are all tech fish I heard about..it looks confused..whatever..it is the post which captures...and tech eyes...very nice..

I am amazed with your excellent shot. You managed to create a true 3D-image. The transparency of the image is stunning. Terrific DOF and details. Great exposure parameters and reflection of the water waves. POV and composition are spot on too. Bravo. Perfect job.

This Heron is such a beautiful bird and your capture is brilliant! I like its pose by the edge of the water and the surrounding swell. I like Bob's workshop too as this is how you tend to see them, a bit further away, but your details are very sharp and the colours so beautiful. Well done!

I personally didn't see a lot of pictures of Heron near the ocean... It is one of the reason I like so much your picture! The other are the perfect POV, the natural colors, and the beautiful bird!
