Hallo Laurens
You are really fortunate to be able to capture all the bright and colourful frogs. I cannot recall that I have ever seen any of these colourful frogs in our area. This one looks as if it fell in a container red nail polish. It is remarkably shiny and the big eye and big paws is very obvious. The green leaf highlights the colour even to a greater level, and the vivid colour shouts out POISONOUS. Best regards and thanks for sharing all these interesting amphibians.

Ótima captura desse pequeno sapo com sua exuberante coloração indicando perigo!
Excelente cromatismo e luminosidae; o contraste de tonalidades chama a atenção.

Anoıther great capture of a Arrow-Poison frog. The aposematic colours says that i am the most poisonous frog amnongst the amphibians:) Wonderful details, sharpness and nice composition.

Hallo Laurens,
Volgens mij een van de giftigste kikkers ter wereld. Mooie opname in prachtig contrasterende kleuren tegen het groene blad. Goede scherpte. Door een stukje van de rechterkant van de foto te halen was de kikker iets minder uit het centrum komen te staan; dat geeft vaak een iets betere compositie. Maar een mooie foto blijft het.

many thanks for your visiting my post. Therefore I also visit your wonderful portfolio. Formerly, I had seen only scorpion macro-shot of yours. Recently you have posted many great captures of very beautiful Neotropical frogs. I have never seen in real life. But I teach them with other amphibian families to my students in vertabrate systematic lessons. I think Dendrobates pumilio is one of the most famous American frogs. This is really wonderful as your other shots of this species. Splendid coloration, great focus and POV. Greatly composed. Thanks for sharing this beauty. best wishes
