Wow! Stunning detail you've captured, beautiful subtle and natural colours too. I can almost smell the moisture, like the smell in Spring when it rains. Fantastic shot. Quite an adventure you're having down there, I look forward to seeing more of the native wildlife. This is great for TN I think, having a member out in the wilds of South America and still posting. Hi Paul,
that frog looks very pretty in its nobly subdued colours - compared to those screamingly bright warning colours other members of its family show.A youngster, as you say, it seems to be in a stage between juvenile hiding by camouflage, and the development of warning - or attracting mates - by more brilliant colours.
Details, colours, pose and composition on the shining wet leaf leaf are just superb! Thank you!
