Hi Julie,
Your first sunset is very beautiful indeed! I love the glassy/silk-like texture of the water's surface and the sun's reflection upon it is stunning. I also love the blend of warm colours in the sky, they are very beautiful. I get a nice feeling of distance looking at the sky and the horizon. Perfect amount of light with a lovely silhouette to the side also. Well done and thanks for sharing.

I am new to camera life as of this Christmas when we purchased a digital camera. But I do know that tropical sunrises and sunsets are so difficult to capture as they seem to just be there and then suddenly disappear. Julie I love the way you have caught the waves motions as they roll continuously to shore and the stream of golden light being cast across the water. Even the sun has a glow being cast out from all sides. Very beautiful picture and makes me feel as if I am sitting on shore myself.
