Hi my king of the hummingbirds ...
Mario, I'm jealous again, I love your birds so much and I must tell you, I haven't seen a single hummingbird in the last 20 years.
The last time I saw them I spent my holidays at Colorado Springs and there they loved to drink at the flowers on the porch. It was amazing and it's my big wish to go to a place where I can watch those marvelous animals.
I have seen a documentation about Mantis - and they showed a Mantis catching and eating such a poor hummingbird, unbelievable!
So I hope your birds will be safe ...

A beautiful jewel of a bird captured expertly in mid-air Mario, you've succesfully "frozen" its high wing beat, even capturing the tiny alula at the elbow, good job indeed!

Excellent pov on this wonderful hummingbird. 1/2000s was a good choice to get the wings frozen like this. The only thing is that I'm suspecting that you passed a noise reduction software on the feathers of the body. Am I wrong?
