| This tree in the path of the lava flow from Volcan Pacaya clings to life, but in an obviously losing battle. Despite the partial uprooting by the force of the flow and the scorching of the lower branches, the upper branches stubbornly hold on to their green color testifying to the amazing forces both in the organic and inorganic world. |
