[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This hardened lava flow is just a few meters behind my vantage point for my "Hot Stuff" submission from Volcan Pacaya in Guatemala. I am sure the interior is still pretty warm, but the surface of this "river" was indeed solid and cool enough to walk over. Photo was cropped to elimate views of the the other climbers walking around.

Hi LOwell,
Very interesting structures and good composition, and I do understand that you eliminated the peoples, but on the other side I can't have a good idea of the sise of it.
Maybe you could post one in workshop with the people on it?.
