its good you posted this perfect picture (you seemed to hesitate). That way we come to see a species of bird rarely presented in its natural setting. The shadows form an interesting pattern, so don't worry about that.

Absolutely worth posting this fine capture of a female Golden-fronted Woodpecker!
Despite the shadows this great pose while feeding was taken from a fine POV to show her features with excellent sharpness and light management.
