[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another in my series of scenes from Volcan Pacaya in Guatemala. This one shows how recent the lava flows are in that the interior is still very hot as evidenced by the glowing interior of this formation. In real time, a snail's pace, but perceptible, flow is also still occurring. Many of the locals bring their lunch for the excursion and heat them up on the lava flow.
