[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the 27 endemic birds of Jamaica. It is the Chestnut-bellied Cuckoo ((Hyetornis pluvialis.
I spotted him in the cloudforest of the higher blue mountains near silver hill in the gardens surrounding the 'Star Chalets', a wonderful isolated hotel, ideal for birders.
I saw other endemic species, like the Red-billed Steamertail (my previous posting) and the Jamaican Oriole.
This Cuckoo is a fairly big bird (about 40 cm high) and it was not shy at all. I watched it openly for about 20 minutes.

Hi Gerrit,
if the picture needs something, is a bit more of light. Above that, is a great composition, with a good POV and focus (we can even see the details of the tail!). The tree on the right side disturbs a little, maybe you can cut it from the pic.
