Poison Dart Frogs, are found in many places in Central and Northern South America in many bold colors. this variety special are found only on Isla Bastimentos in the Bocas Del Toro regiion.
They are quite small 1.5 - 2 cm. |

Great contrast of this frog against the dark background, the placement in the frame is perfect as well. The only part that distracts me a bit is the twig in the upper right corner, maybe some highlight correction will make it blend into the background a bit more. Very fine image though!
Amazing frog, Eyal. I like the colors of this composition, very unusual for a nature shot. Looks like a fragile critter in a science fiction environment. It makes this shot very special.
Thats one tiny frog.Pretty wicked colour too.
Its hard to photograph things like this with all those shiny reflective surfaces.Interesting POV and composition too.

A great shot of this beautiful poison dart frog. Good POV and good light. I know it is very hard to get the exposure right with their usually wet body and their tendency to hide in dark nooks and crannies. Well done and TFS. : )
