Hi Laurens,

you can't beat this little red frog ! Great how you captured the posture and all the fine details. There is definitely a signal to be read there ( Dendrobates frogs are of course known for their strong poison). My compliments for this fine shot.

Best regards
Dietrich

Hi Laurens,

I have never seen an orange frog! Just wonderful with the black spots. I love the pose - he looks to be on the verge of leaping away. I'm looking forward to this series - I have a feeling we have lots of surprises in store for us.

Jane

Hello Laurens!
I must say, that after some break from TN I discovered one very interesting gallery of amphibians - it is your gallery! So today a comment to only 1 picture, but please be sure - I'll be back! :)

Very colourful and sharp photo of Dendroates. These small frongs are amazing! So small and so toxic...
Great macro with perfect DOF. Nothing to add :)
Greetings from winter Lodz and all the best in 2009!
Friendly yours,
Radomir

Hi Lou. A fine capture of this unusually-coloured frog. I thought most would be green so this is a delightful surprise to see. Good clarity and colours. TFS. Murray.
