[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The palm Tanager is closely related to the Blue-gray Tanager that some peolple think that they may in fact be the same species with two clour morphs. The Palm tanager inhabits cultivated areas and suburban districts; but, true to its name, it seems to favour palms and generally feeds at higher level above the ground. known locally as "Palmiste", it is common on Trinidad and has recently colonised Tobago, where it is becoming steadily more common. Generally dull olive green, it has yellowish wing coverts and dark primaries, so in flight it appears to have a pale wing bar.
It feeds on fruit, nectar and insects by foraging among palms and other trees which have small berries, often hanging upside down. Nests are built in palms or under eaves of houses, even on on the beams of verandah roofs. This is a restless bird full of nervous energy.

Un acertada captura Zeno, con agradable POV y gran nitidez, que muestra los detalles del plumaje con toda claridad.
