Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni boettgeri)
During our orchids trip in Albania and Greece we found also a few tortoises. This one was very little, its carapace was about 10 cm long only. I found also much bigger specimens, but they weren´t so nice :-) Tortoises are very exotic and interesting animals for me, I found it in Sardinia (7 years ago) and in Albania near Diviake now.

Hello Jan,
Excellent POV on this tortoise. Look very natural in this environment. Details are very good too.
Best regards Siggi
Hello Jan!
Great capture of this little tortoise! I had pleasure to observe this species several times, also in Albania and Greece :)
Very good low POV and clarity. This little one looks really cute :)

Ahoj!
Agree with you Jan, tortoises are very exotin in our places. Theoretically one specie still lives in Poland, but I've never seen it in wild. Good portrait of this reptile teken from good low POV. Very good details on shell. Hard light, but you managed it well.

Hi Jan,
excellent capture of this rare creature. I like the pattern and very sharp image. i like the light hitting its back and giving a good reflection and imapct to the subject.
Well presented shot.

Foozi
