Hello Peter,
A beautiful image of a Peacock Butterfly enjoying the nectar offered by Valeriana(?) flowers. The POV showing upper and under surfaces of the wings is excellent and the composition emphasing the flowers and the butterfly superb.
A nice memento of 2007!

Beautiful capture of this colorful butterfly!
I like the pose got and the way you managed to compose the picture with the trio of flowers alog the diagonal.
I've learn a lot from you through your wonderful pictures, each time I see a butterfly -that for some reason for me here that's no so frequent- it comes to my mind immediately your unique work, that stunning POV's, lighting, colours, and overall artistic sense. And endless source of inspiration.

Hallo Peter,
Da Deine Bilder nur noch selten auf TN auftauchen, habe ich mir Deine Bilder wieder mit Freude angeschaut..und festgestellt, dass ich auch einige verpasst habe. Dieses farbenfrohe und erzählerische Bild vom schönen Pfauenauge zum Beispiel. Die Schmetterlingssaison ist bald da, die ersten Falter haben sich schon gezeigt. Ich hoffe nur, dass Dir die Zeit vergönnt wird für Exkursionen in der Natur, die Du so liebst und natürlich auch wieder mal ein Bild von Dir auf TN.
