Guten Morgen Peter,
ich mache gerade eine 5-Minuten Pause und da trifft dein Super-Bild vom Blaukernauge ein - gefällt mit außerordentlich gut. Über Fokus und Schärfe müssen wir nicht reden - die farblichen Details, die verschiedenen deutlich zu sehenden Braun-Nuancen sind es, die das Bild für mich attraktiv machen ... Pause geht zu Ende.

Hello Peter,
I have a feeling you have given us a wide range of dark coloured butterflies in the recent past to admire and appreciate.
This is yet another very exotic dark butterfly. I guess the term blue-eyed refers to those lovely eye-spots with the blue dot at the centre of each of them.
Very fine perspective, colours and sharpness.
And I haven't missed those blue little bugs having fun above the butterfly :-)!

I see your next elegant at high range picture of this beautiful butterfly with great pleasure. Its delicate light-green palette, smoothness of the BG and excellent details of the butterfly and leaves at FG create a strong esthetic impression. I like you composition and cropping so much too. Two bugs at highest leaves are simply amazing and decorate the whole scene. Your POV and DOF are brilliant as well as the skillfulness of reproduction of this beauty and nice note. Many thanks for showing this beautiful Blue-eyed Satyr which is new to me! The sharpness and dark colour makes it look so lovely against the soft green background. Your composition is perfect too. - We really must have a holiday in the Alps soon again; from you I've learnt there is so much left to see there!

Nice to see one of your Satyrids again! M. dryas is beautifully presented with sharp detail, fine contrasting BG and set in a pleasing composition.
Not long now before you can start photographing this year's butterflies. It will be interesting to see how they are affected by global warming.

Another very beautiful butterfly shot from you!
The contrast here between the subject and the surrounding vegetation is excellent and i really like the those bright blue spots standing out so well from its wings.
Good sharpness and POV, too.

Hallo Peter,
Mit ein wenig Verspätung sehe ich diesen schönen Waldportier (dazu noch blauäugig!) Und man stellt auf Deinem Bild noch fest, dass es auf der oberen Etage ziemlich wild zu-und hergeht. Farblich sehr ausgewogenes, lebendiges Bild. Sehr schöne Grünnuancen hat Dein Bild.Ich hab diesen Schmetterling leider noch nie gesehen.
