Very fast Lady! I didn't saw any this year in my place. Very nice photo with good POV and details. Muddy BG isn't maybe perfect, but butterfly itself looks great.

Hallo Peter, not rare but well presented. The margins of the fore-wings just divide the picture in two equal triangles. The important one is filled with the vivid colours painted on this lady.

Hallo Peter, diesen Burschen habe ich dieses Jahr noch nicht erspäht. Aber ich hoffe. ;-)
Gelungene Komposition eines sehr schönen Edelfalters. Natürliche Farben, tadellose Schärfe und ein schöner Bildaufbau. Ich woll´t das Foto wäre meins. (habe noch kein zufriedenstellendes Distelfalterfoto)Auf jeden Fall vielen Dank für das schöne Foto. Ich wünsche Dir einen schönen "Vatertag".

Hi Peter
A lovely lady it is, well captured and presented. The composition looks good with the diagonal positioning and frontal POV. The colours are very natural and the details are crispy and sharp. Although the BG is rather difficult when photographing an insect sitting on the ground I think this one worked out quite good. The darkish earthy colour actually enhances the butterfly very well. The exposure was also well managed.
