Gentiana clusii
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This mountain flower can be found up to 2800 m high in the dry grass of Alps, Jura, Schwarzwald and Karpathos mountains. It's a real decoration of the alpine pastures and rocks because of its intense color and shape. It's in bloom mainly from may to july, longer on higher altitudes.
Here a bunch of 4 gentianes defy the weather at the summit of Dobratsch, 2167 m high above the city of Villach in the extreme south of Austria. |

Hi Mitja,
This is a nice shot of these very attractive flowers. Lovely colour, sharp details. TFS.
Cheers, Uma
Hi Mitja,
A very good POV. The blue colours are overdone. To extreme. But the details are good (sharp). Regards and TFS Bob
