This is an awesome capture!
It's so good the way you have developed this pictures with the sky as part of the background, that converts it in a real pieces of art.
Not only are good the details, focus and sharpness of the image, but also the amazing way it looks like and high quality.
The slight tilted horizon works great for the composition!

Hi Peter
Very nice shot. I like hte perfect sharpness and good diagonal composition.

Buckground is also very good but I am wondering about the down part. (Maybe you could clone some parts of the sky from upper part and paste it in right down corner) Or maybe it is to hevy workshop for TN?

Schöne, schlichte Darstellung dieses Goldenen Scheckenfalters, den ich wohl noch nie gesehen habe. Sehr interessant, die etwas schräge Perspektive. Ich sehe, dass Du auch Walter Schön mit seinem Schmetterling-Portal aufführst. Er hat auch Grosses geleistet und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Hi, dear Peter, rare enough guest of TN this summer.
Whether can the composition be better? Whether can the subject be more charming? I think, no. Once more your terrific butterfly picture reflected beauty of the insect and its surroundings: mountains, meadows, sky and clouds. Stunning details of the leaf and butterfly. All fibers of the butterfly are visible, colours and lighting are the best. Note… Incredible. Thanks a lot for given pleasure. My warm wishes.

Hello Peter,
A perfect lateral view of the lower side of the wings. Exact exposure, great details, the best point of view and a far, still visible background compose a really good photo. It seems that the butterfly was very collaborative or you have work out how to approach it!

Hallo Peter,

Wieder ein sehr schoenes Bild von Dir und sehr interessante Informationen. Ich haette nie daran gedacht eine Wise nur teilweise und nur jedes zweite Jahr maehen. Das sollte man ueberall so machen aber umso mehr in den Plaetzen wo bedrohte Schmetterlingarten leben.

Zusammensetzung:

Deine sehr gutte diagonale Komposition zeigt uns ein sehr schoenes Profil des Goldener Scheckenfalters. Der Himmel ist oft der besste Hintergrund in Schmetterling Bilder da er das Subjekt richtig auszeichnet.

Farben:

Die Wiedergabe der Farben ist auch sehr gut gelungen. Die Farbensaettigung wurde richtig behandelt um natuerliche Farbtoenen zu erziehen.

Kontrast:

Sehr gute Verteilung des Kontrasts zwischen Vor- und Hintergrund! Die orangen Farbtoenen kontrastieren sehr gut mit den blauen Farben im Hintergrund.

Beleuchtung:

Obwohl Du den Scheckenfalter sehr gut beleuchtet hast ist der helle Himmel im Hintergrund nicht ganz weiss wie es bei mir oft der Fall ist. Trotz dem starken Sonnenlicht wurden die weissen Farben nicht ueberbeleuchtet. Und da wurde kein Blitz verwendet! Ausgezeichnet!

Scharfeinstellung:

Die ausgezeichnete Details deuten auf eine sehr genaue Scharfeinstellung hin. Man kann deutlich alle Einzelheiten im Auge des Falters oder die Schuppen in den Fluegel sehen. Die Schaerfentiefe wurde auch sehr gut kontrolliert. Obwohl der Hintergrund schoen und unscharf aussieht, wurden beide Fuehler des Schmetterlings scharf wiedergeben.

Ein schoenes Bild von hoher Qualitaet! Hoffentlich sind meine Fehler verzeihlich! Herzlichen Dank!

It is really nice to come back Lodz and to TN adventure, and to see such pictures again :)
Very nice and beauty photo and the artistic one too. I like composition a lot - lack of symmetry is really great in this image. Also DOF and POV are very good, and the note (as always) more that informative :)
I just have only one question: why it is still absent in PES gallery! ;>

I like your butterflies against the sky. This shot of the female Marsh fritillary with the wings closed is superb with its sharpness, diagonal composition and OOF natural alpine meadow BG. If I wanted to take an underside shot of this species I can't think of a better way of doing it!

ich bin jedesmal erstaunt, wie viele Arten von Scheckenfaltern es gibt.
Ich hab' dieses Jahr 2 verschiedene gesehen und es hat mich Mühe gekostet sie zu bestimmen. Die Zeichnungen sind wunderbar.
