what a great moth, you did well not to OE the whites and not UE (underexpose) the darker areas at the same time. great detail and nice and sharp.

An excellent capture of this lovely moth, but I just hope you told it that it won't find anything sweet in that item it was sitting on. However, it looks like it was sucking something as its galea was extended all the way into this turd, yuck.
Your composition is great and the colours are splendid. The details are nice and sharp and the exposure was perfect. As Emma said, there is no OE on the whites and no UE on the darker areas.

just back from the field and with couple of photo of this species (and just wondering what is it... you saved a lot of my time with this)... but my photo is not even close (the butterflies have partially broken wings on the right part).
