Hi Peter,
What a beautiful little Moth. Wonderful markings and lovely soft colours. A great shot in what sounds like poor light, excellent exposure, great details and colours. Nice DOF to keep the leaves in perfect focus. Great shot, interesting and thorough note. Great work!

Hallo Peter,
die Sammlung an Nachtfaltern, auch nicht gerade so farbenfroher, wird immer ansehnlicher. Somit, danke für das schöne Bild dieses Spanners, eine wertvolle Bereicherung für TrekNature. Trotz des Verstecks mit ggf. (?) schwierigen Licht/Schatten-Verhältnissen ein sehr gelungenes Foto.

Hi Peter,
Very difficult shot [in my opinion] but you managed it very well, with excellent colour and DOF. I find the leaf on the RHS a little distracting, even because it appears to be sharper than the subject. Again it's just an opinion; minor things, otherwise the shot is splendid.

Well don,e on this one. The uneven exposure is slightly disturbing, but it(s much better than to have overexposure. Sharp details and a good-looking picture even for the non-lepidopterist !

Hallo Peter,
wundervoll, es ist gar nicht einfach ein gutes Bild mit einem solchen Kontrast zu manchen. Es ist Dir sehr gut gelungen. Der Falter ist nicht überbelichtet und auch die Blätter sind schön hell. Ich habe den Versuch gemacht Insekten auf der weißen Hauswand zu fotografieren - vergiß es, total dunkel!
Also - gut gemacht, außerdem ein edler Falter, Danke und Gruß

I have seen this moth(Similar one) a quite number of times here in Bangalore ( will post later) but did not know the ID, Thanks for the ID.
I Liked the diagonal composition with directional space alot, you have done extremly well to cpature the details in the whites, congrats!
