[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi
Still winter outside, still winter photos :) however this one I have taken last year in Austria.
I went there for skiing holidays. We lived in a small village St. Paul. Just behind the houses there was a small valley and on the other side of the valley there was a forest (you can see it in my workshop). The inhabitants of the village put hay on the bottom of the valley and deers from the forest came to eat it. So it was possible to meet them in the morning. Unfortunately they were affraid of man so when they realised that they were observed they came to the forest back, but after some time they came again. This deer you can see in the picture was the bravest (or the most hungry) - the first one that came to the place with hay.

I've cropped the picture and changed levels and saturation. Additionally I've cloned the right upper corner to remove the branches of the tree (you can see original photo in the second workshop).
Hope you enjoy it
Ania

What a perfectly exposed image Ania! it is wonderful. I looked at your workshop. You could remove the blue with the white eyedropper in Levels, but it is best to do it with an adjustment layer so you can turn down the opacity if it is too white. You could try the blue slider in Hue and Saturation and then add a bit of contrast. Thanks for sharing this pretty baby.

Hi Ania. Excellent capture of this delicate animal in the snow. You were well positioned to have the shadow behing the deer like that. Good work. Murray.

Hi Ania,

A beautiful capture! Haha, good to see the workshop pictures. Was wondering when not having read your note 'Did this little deer make such deep paths in the snow??'... ;-)

Greetings, Dennis

TFS this pic, it looks so fragile, Ori

I really like this composition, Ania.
The small deer in the vast expanse of snow makes it look very vulnerable.
Great pose and POV and good exposure on the snow.
TFS. : )

Beautiful shot...

Ania,
Thanks for sharing this hungry and cute fellow.
Quite moody image.

Czesc Ania,

Bardzo dobre naswietlenie jak na zdjecie w sniegu. Jesli o kompozycje chodzi to spokojnie moglabys przekadrowac to zdjecie do formatu 2:3, dzieki czemu uniknelabys klopotow z galeziami w gornej czesci.
Zreszta zawsze mozesz uzyc polecenia auto-kolor w Photoshopie :-)
Serdecznosci,
Michal

Nice pic. Funny that those small path become a roe deer highway.

Bonne journée.

Dear Ania,
Very nice winter motion photograph with a brave deer walking through the icy & snowy walkways. What I like in this photo is the sharpness & no glare despite of snow all around. Did you use polarizing filter? Cheers for excellent shot.
