| When I had my Panasonic Lumix repaired last summer I got for a few weeks a Konic Minola Dimage A200. It was nice to work with a different camera for some time. Near the place where my parents live I took this photos of a spider. I do not know the name of it, may be somebody can help me? |

Hi Wolfgang,
The spider is a Black and Yellow Argiope,(Argiope aurantia) A fairly comman but impressive orb weaver. This is a female, as they are much bigger than the males. They are lage and colorful and the webs always are impressive. A nice shot here!
