A nice capture of Calliphora with excelent details, POV DOV and sharpnes friend! Its larvae are protelien parasitic and they cause "miasis" as you know. TFS friend!

Once more perfectly done close-up picture of the widespread fly. I like the quality of the picture, excellent diagonal composition and POV. You have selected spot metering mode and use it perfectly. non è facile fotografare un insetto dal colore così grigio su uno sfondo bianco.
Complimenti per come sei riuscita a farlo così bene! La mosca è davvero molto nitida e a fuoco.

Hi marie. Tried to get a close up the other day of a fly it did not look like this. You have captured fine detail in the wings and body. I like the way you can see the flat top to the eyes. with natural colours. well done TFS.

Hi Marie, I'm definitely not a fan of flies, especially Blowflies, but this really is an excellent shot of one. Your depth of field for this macro is excellent giving us clear visibility over the complete fly. The shot is sharp, with excellent colour, and the fly is well positioned to give a good overall look at his anatomy.
