[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Tartarian dogwood or Siberian dogwood (Cornus alba) is native to Siberia, Manchuria, N. Korea. It is a deciduous shrub, famous for the barks of its stems which turn to a vivid blood red colour in winter. Its fruits are also attractive, I think.

Le Cornouiller blanc est originaire de Sibérie, Mandchourie et Corée du Nord. C’est un buisson vivace, connu pour l’écorce de ses branches qui prend une jolie teinte rouge vif en hiver. Ses fruits sont aussi attractifs, à mon avis.

a pretty shot well taken
this is so much better than the thumbnail can show
good focus soft lighting and well chosen background
