[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Tartarian dogwood or Siberian dogwood (Cornus alba) is native to Siberia, North China and North Korea. It is a deciduous shrub. Young shoots with a bright red bark are spectacular throughout the winter. I have already presented its fruits in fall.
Today, welcome spring! At spring appear oval leaves from 4 to 10 cm long, with beautiful bright green. They move toward orange and yellow in fall.

It is my first try with a macro ring +1. PP: sharpen, cropped and resize.

Le Cornouiller blanc (Cornus alba) est originaire de Sibérie, de la Chine du Nord et de la Corée du Nord. C’est un buisson vivace. Les jeunes rameaux dotés d’une écorce rouge vif sont spectaculaires durant tout l’hiver. Je vous ai déjà présenté ses fruits en automne.
Mais voici le printemps ! Au printemps apparaissent des feuilles ovales de 4 à 10 cm de long, d’un beau vert vif. Elles évolueront vers l’orangé et le jaune en automne.

C’est mon premier essai avec une bague macro +1. PP : +net, recadrage et réduction.

Hi Catherine . This is a very good macro shot of the new bud. you sharp focusing has given fine detail and rich but still natural looking colours. good use of the light and a nice crop . well done TFS.
