No need to present the common but pretty daisy (Bellis perennis, Asteraceae).
Daisies are a popular domestic remedy with a wide range of applications. They are a traditional wound herb. The herb is mildly anodyne, antispasmodic, antitussive, demulcent, digestive, emollient, expectorant, laxative, ophthalmic, purgative and tonic. Chewing the fresh leaves is said to be a cure for mouth ulcers. A mild decoction may ease complaints of the respiratory tract, rheumatic pains and painful or heavy menstruation. (Plants for a Future)
When it just gets out the soil, the top of its petals takes sometimes nice rose of red colours. That’s what I want to show you.
And in addition, here is a poem dedicate to it.

The Field Daisy

I'm a pretty little thing,
Always coming with the spring;
In the meadows green I'm found,
Peeping just above the ground,
And my stalk is cover'd flat
With a white and yellow hat.

Little Mary, when you pass
Lightly o'er the tender grass,
Skip about, but do not tread
On my bright but lowly head,
For I always seem to say,
"Surely winter's gone away."

Ann Taylor (1782-1866)

Qui toujours vient avec le printemps ;
Dans les prés verts, on me trouve,
Dressée juste dessus la terre,
Ma tige couverte
D’un chapeau blanc et jaune.

Petite Marie, quand tu passes
Légère sur l’herbe tendre,
Saute bien, mais ne marche pas
Sur ma modeste tête lumineuse,
Pour que je puisse toujours dire,
« C’est sûr, l’hiver s’en est allé. »

A lovely image, Catherine. : )
That bud of the common daisy looks at once vulnerable and feisty.
The bending position of the closed petals gives a sense of humility and softness, yet the "hairs" on the stem look like bristles for self-defense.
This picture makes me think of the "rose" in "The Little Prince".
Very nice colors and excellent sharpness of details.
Merci pour le partage. : )

Hello Catherine this is beautifully composed flower well placed in the frame, and I like how the dof works to blur the less interesting elements of the shot tfs rgds Necip

Bonjour Catherine
Antoine.
