Pragtige naam - boomklewer - it says it all, it clings to the tree!
He is nice and sharp, always a pleasure when one "catches" the first picture of a birdie.
You couls clone out the wire behind him, it would improve the overall impact, but you caught him with his bill in the cookie-jar, and it shows he environment.
Well done, Kirsten.

Very good catch in action, Kirsten. Soft winter colors, very good pose. Looks very natural. I agree with Callie about the fence. In french, it's called "Sittelle Torchepot", but I haven't seen any up to now this winter, unfortunately.

Nice picture Kirsten, you have caught this Nuthatch really well.
My mother has them in her garden every day.
Very clear with good colours.
Well done!

I have to mention that I think this is one of your sharpest shots yet! With that mask he looks like a robber and he looks guilty as well.
As I said, the sharpness is great and the exposure goes with that as well.
Very well done and thanks for posting.
Good post, Kirsten: picture and note.
I like your nuthatch. I dared a WS.
Thanks

pros: subject, pose, composition, note, cutness factor :-)
cons: elements of civilisation [net&fence]
Good work Kristen!

You are very patient waiting that long but the result was worth it. Good shot, he's nice and sharp. Well done. TFS.

Prachtig, Kirsten. Ongelooflijk scherp en goede scherptediepte. Jammer van de draad, op TL zou je die mogen verwijderen. Knap gedaan, een foto waar ik jaloers op ben!

Very nice, your getting better. A long time to wait for a bird to come back, but it was worth it. I like Luc's workshop, a simple clone to improve an otherwise great shot, well done.

Boomklevertjes, hele mooie kleine vogeltjes die op een zeer fijne manier als een spiraal een boom in klimmen, prachtig om te zien !
je hebt hem lekker "gevangen" hier, mooie dichtbij-foto, Kirsten !
