The Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos), also called Polar Wolf or White Wolf, is a mammal of the Canidae family, and a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. It is often confused with the Tundra Wolf (Canis lupus albus), which can be found throughout northern Europe and Asia. Arctic Wolves inhabit the Canadian Arctic and the northern parts of Greenland.

I love wolves (and dogs), Annick, and this shot is wonderful.
You captured such a soulful look in his eyes.
Excellent focus and exposure on the white fur.
I also like the pose of the head and the profile take.

Hello Annick,
Hoewel ik het spijtig vindt (maar ik denk dat het waarschijnlijk wel beter is voor de compositie)dat het andere oor niet op de foto is, is het erg mooi omdat de kleuren zo monocroom zijn, en een warm portrait geeft van de wolf, met prachtige details.
