good shot. what is it anyway ?
Hy Ayse
I am very glad that I see a picture from Gent. But, unfortunately, as Vinny also said, in Europe this plant is not native and is mostly a cultivated plant in the private gardens or botanical gardens. And also it is not really suited for TN. Maybe if you will write something about the plant, to mentioned were you took the picture, in which conditions...
So, good luck!
Oana
PS: A good way to shoot plants and to be sure that are not cultivated: go somewhere outside the city, on a nice meadow, mountain, further from human activities like houses and cultivated fields. It will be a nice place to exercise you photographic skills if you like this!
This is ether Fatsia japonica - a shrubby relative of ivy (Hedera helix) or x Fatshedera lizei which is a bigeneric hybrid between the two.
Either way it is a garden plant in Belgium and should not really be used as a TN subject.
Kind Regards
Vinny
