Rose chafers on Elderberry
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Two Rose chafers (Cetonia aurata) enjoy the flowers of Elderberry (Sambucus nigra). Me too! I made a delicious syrup with this flowers (not this on the photo, I let it for the beetles...).
It's very refreshing and good for health.

Hi Catherine. Your sigma has given you rich colours in this picture . I like your pov showing the blue sky behind the Elderberries. You have once again good detail in the olants and bugs. Just a little noise in the BG green or it may be my eyes. I have been looking at a computer all day at work . Its so windy here so its not worth going out with the camera tonight. Well done TFS.
Nick..

Hi Catherine,
A very beautiful composition, that shows lots of interesting things in sharp focus on a nicely blurred background. Colors, especially yellow tint of flowers captured well.
Some people make a kind of jam from flowers of dwarf elderberry here. I have not tasted it yet. TFS
