An albino Dactylorhiza fuchsii.
The picture was shot under quite harsh lighting condition but with a reflector disk I managed to keep the harsh shadows somewhat under control |

Hello Jeroen
elegant composition with beautiful Albino, fine details and very vivid white color, great sharpness.
Very interesting the soft background and the focusing.

Hallo Jeroen,
Dit soort foto's wordt vaak over het hoofd gezien. Er zit geen spektakel in in vorm of kleur.
Maar hij is ontzettend mooi van kleur in zachte tinten en goed van scherpte. Uitstekende compositie en vage achtergrond.
Groet,
Peter
Hy Jeroen
I never heard about albinism in orchids, or other plants. Probaly this is a mutation in the flowering genes(- the pigment from the flowers,) othewise, if it was completly white: leaves, stem, flowers, the plant would not survive- if the clorophil is not present, the plant has no chances.Very good spotted, sharp picture and clear. TFS!
