Wow, what a great macro capture of the adorable butterfly! The colors are so well defined and so are the textures. The sharpness is crisp and the POV is simply well-chosen. The DOF is very fine. I like the contrast of the butterfly's colors to the sorroundings.

Great macro of beautifull and rare moth. Dorsal POV is great - colours and patterns remaind of some kind of Swallowtail. Nice composition with flower and clean BG. Pity that picture with opened wings isn't sharp, but maybe you could post it as workshop?

Une image qui a un rayonnement particulier..un grand calme se dégage de cette scène captée dans la nature. Le positionnement de l'Ecaille chinée sur la Knautie est parfait. Les couleurs d'une grande subtilité, la netteté comme toujours est parfaite.
Une image classique dans le bon sens du terme.

nice compo and details on moth
interesting to see this moth on flower at sunlight...i always find them in dark places and although its so beautifull i couldnt manage a good shot of it...
