Dat is lang geleden. Ik hoop dat alles met je goed gaat. Je laat ons zeker een erg mooie foto zien waar de prachtig gekleurde insect erg mooi naar voren komt. Het details en belichting in deze foto vind ik echt fantastisch. Een prachtige helderheid en scherpte diepte maken de foto compleet.

A true beauty from you, my friend!
The Calopteryx damselflies are always very photogenic, but there is something special about them if they are placed on a green BG…and here is one of those cases...absolutely gorgeous!
The details in your photo are also magnificent - very clear and sharp - and the colors and superb!
The DOF you used is excellent to get the entire subject in great focus and the diagonal composition is also wonderful.

Via een omweg kwam ik nog deze foto van je tegen. Deze is verbluffend mooi. Het diepe blauw in deze libel afgetekend tegen de zachte groene achtergrond is schitterend. Daarbij de perfecte scherpte en prachtige compositie maakt deze foto tot uitzonderlijke klasse.

Hi Jaap,
the strikingly beautiful iridescent blue of wings and body stand out surprisingly well from a strongly saturated and densely structured green background of rich vegetation. This is a very naturalistic impression of great beauty, showing the splendour of a day at a pond in early summer that makes us believe to be a visitors to the deepest tropics. I like it.
