It is always nice to see a new posting from you as you seem to keep us waiting in anticipation for the next beauty. Jaap is absolutely correct in pointing out the brilliant qualities of this shot. You continue to amaze me with every shot you post and I don't understand why you post so few and far between. Anyway, it sure keeps us guessing what will be the next subject be and when will we see it.
This composition & POV are great and the colours are beautifully saturated. The details are impressive, the BG is superb and the exposure was spot-on.

Ik heb het er met John reeds over gehad, hoe speel jij het klaar om zo dicht bij deze insecten te komen, praat u daar even mee, met de belofte ze helemaal niets te doen, dit is weer vrij knap gedaan, België was dan toch voor iets goed, niet alleen voor het goede bier!

Reading all these critiques, I think there must be something wrong with my eyes....This photo is not very sharp. Yes, the DOF is narrow so that accounts for some areas but I can't really see where the main area of focus is, there seems to be no sharp area at all. It's such a shame, because everything else about the photo is just great....an interesting subject, perfect composition, fairly good lighting, although I think a flash would have helped, maybe with the sharpness as well.

What a super little fellow you've captured here! I really like the pose of this Skipper and the long rolled up proboscis. Focus is not brilliant but I don't think it matters here. A great capture and a very nice composition!

Looking at your gallery I was impressed to see the capture of the long proboscis of this skipper taken from a fine POV in a good composition.
The details from this POV show well.
BTW, this is not a small skipper, the light yellow patches on the underside of the wing show that this is a Large Skipper (Ochlodes venatus).
