A wonderful image, depicting the special situation in the Netherlands a couple of days ago with the frosty landscape!
Fact is this looks even better than snow, as it makes the naked branches so beautiful...

Hoi John,
De scherpte in deze foto is heel erg mooi. Ik heb echt het gevoel dat ik de foto word ingezogen.
Het rijp heeft onze twee landjes wel erg mooi weten te veranderen. Het feit dat je nog zoveel kleur hebt weten te vinden maakt de foto net iets anders dan normaal. Het lijkt me wel dat je de foto iets te veel verscherpt hebt.

Bonjour John,
Ce paysage d'hiver est très réussi, avec des lignes affirmées et bien rythmées, avec un poit de fuite très décentré qui amène le regard au delà du cadre.
La lumière est parfaitement dosée. On ne dirait pas que l'atmosphère souffre de pollution ...

Hello John. You are a master in landscape composition. You have drawn the path pinned down the bottom right frame so perfectly giving an excellent perspective of the shot. This I have to really work hard to get it right. The winter canopy of the trees are just stunning with the snow cladding on the branches. The beaten path also adds contrast to this otherwise looks like a monochrome composition. I really like to see more of your post here and keep shooting. Very well done John and best regards. Jusni

Hi John, this is a very good winter scene, but you'll probably be just as happy to see it gone, and spring here now. I like the way the hoar frost is clinging to those trees, and grass, leaving a fine path between the two patches of white for you to follow. Great colour and very good textures seen in this shot.

Hi John,
Very nice and as You said, idyllic postcard image. Absolutely top photo (I bookmark it as one of my faves), can't be any better. The only thing I'm not fully satisfied with is the yellow sign, it breaks the color harmony of the image by my opinion. Otherwise a photo to be proud of.
