[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
April was quite cold. So we decide to burn some wood and share a fire with friends. While I was preparing the wood I spotted a spider running away. I left the logs in place and ran for my camera. Here is a shot I like. I looked in my Collins field guide: spiders. I'm pretty sure it is a salticidae, a male. I think it might be a Marpissa muscosa. I'll be glad to anyone who can comment this identification.

Hello Jean!
I agree with you, this species belongs to Salticidae, and most probably to Marpissa muscosa.
Anyway, nice macro picture with fine details :)
Best greetings from Poland,
Radomir

Hello Jean,

A pity but I'm no spider specialist, but I look very gladly to spiders, this are very interesting animals.
Very well taken this spider with a good sharpness, the eyes are very to see, this is very important.
Very well done.

Best regards,
John.
