The Fragrant Honeysuckle (Lonicera fragantissima) is a delightful scented winter flowering shrub. It as lots of small creamy white flowers which are produced on leafless branches from late autumn to mid spring, these stand up well to light winter frosts.

Le chèvrefeuille d’hiver (Lonicera fragantissima) est un buisson au feuillage semi-persistant, à la floraison délicatement parfumée. Ses fleurs sont de couleur blanc crème et apparaissent en fin d’automne jusqu’au printemps. Cet arbuste se plait au soleil hivernal et résiste au gel.

Hi Catherine,

This is a special flower and I like the ambiance. I think this shot is very delicate and kind of intimate. The light and the colors are superb!! Also the blurred background is wonderful. TFS.

Je passe tous les jours plusieurs fois par jour devant mon chèvrefeuille fragrantissima, qui porte bien son nom. J'ai déjà voulu faire cette photo, mais jamais avec ce succès. La petitesse des fleurs ! Bravo, j'aime beaucoup cette photo.

Hi Catherine,
very nice composition, but the details over the big flower get a bit lost.. i don´t know if because the POV, the light or the focus. Although that, is a very nice picture: the little flower looks great.

The colours of the Honeysuckle are warm and so pretty. The delicate petals create nice composition, especially with the soft lighting.

Impardonnable, surtout que j'adore les chèvrefeuilles, la photo est bien sur réussie techniquement mais c'est artistiquement qu'elle est remarquable, j'aime particulièrement ce mélange flou-net et le background,

I haven't done much in the way of flower photography, and I really admire your work. This is a great shot, with excellent dof and pov. The composition is perfect, and the overall effect very artictic. A really beautiful image.
