The Yellow Archangel (Lamium galeobdolon syn. Lamiastrum galeobdolon) is a species of the Lamiaceae family. It is widespread in Europe, and has been introduced elsewhere as a garden plant.
It is a native plant of moist woodlands. The beautiful yellow flowers are attractive to bees.

Le lamier jaune ou ortie jaune (Lamium galeobdolon syn. Lamiastrum galeobdolon) est une plante de la famille des Lamiacées, commune en Europe.
Les fleurs jaunes et la tige carrée permet de la distinguer sans équivoque. On la trouve dans les sous-bois herbacés.

Hello Catherine,
A good composition, great detail and natural colors. I think the depth of field is too shallow though for such a 3 dimensional subject, a lot is out of focus. Great detail and texture on the parts that are in focus though, it looks as if I could touch it.
