Hi Catherine. It a good job i read the notes as i was going to ask what it was standing on. Makes a good surface. I have tried to take them but nothing like as good as this. Great detail and colour. with the reflection. well done TFs.

Hi Catherine,
you got one strange image what I mean is something not usualy seen. I was wondering about the colors and reflections and only your valuable notes cleared my doubts. You said the life cycle is one to two years but how long this adult live, couple of days. TFS.

Hi Catherine,

I don't think I've seen a Mayfly before. A truly beautiful shot with the insect in a perfect pose. The details of the body and wings are wonderful.. The background is superb and the car turned out to be a perfect place for it to settle - colors and reflections are lovely and quite unique.

Belle image de cette éphémère. Très bonne composition et bon focus. J'aime beaucoup sa réflection sur le métal. Bonne maîtrise de la lumière et belles couleurs. J'ai une éphémère qui attend dans mes archives, mais elle est grise sur fond gris, je la metterai peut-être un jour si je n'ai rien d'autre à présenter.

This Mayfly looks really lovely on the car roof!! If you hadn't told us I would have guessed it was on water! The effect is really beautiful here and the details of the Mayfly are very sharp and it fits nicely into your frame. Lovely colours too!

Picture has some noises, but I like it because of the object :) Mayflies are not very popular among TN members and as objects of photography not very common in TN gellery :)
Original and unique photo, and what I like a lot - species is identify! (and as we or known perfectly - it is very nice to know what we are looking at :>).

voila une jolie mouche de mai,j'aime beaucoup sont reflet,la netetté est relativement bonne,dommage que la tête soit un peu caché a cause du fond noir a cet endroit.vous avez surement dû la recadrer pour obtenir un gros plan avec le 70-300?
