Cladonia

Daniel (danyy) has organised last week end a Trek Earth meeting in the town of Spa in Belgium. We went to the Spa Malchamps fen.
I'm not sure at all this really is cladonia so any help for the exact identification will be appreciated.
From wikipedia: Cladonia (cup lichen) is a genus of moss-like lichens in the family Cladoniaceae. Lichens are symbiotic organisms made up by the association of microscopic green algae or cyanobacteria and filamentous fungi. Lichens take the external shape of the fungal partner and hence are named based on the fungus. |
