It's a very nice shot of this damselfly, but I think the ID isn't correct.
This is a male of Banded Demoiselle Calopteryx splendens and as you wrote in the note the two species are easy to distinguish: "in C. splendens the wing pigment is confined to a broad central band". Yours damselfly has such band, so it can't be Beautiful Demoiselle ;)
