[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Update 31aug:
I've been thinking about the origin of the green...
I'm convinced it is simply there 'cause a few minutes before this shot the fellow was sitting high in a tree
scrubbing his face against the tree and so doing getting a green make up powder. Saving costs for the photographer as there is no need for a visagist.

Usually I deliver a note from wiki. "The uncia uncia is...".
Usually technically I do some post processing stuff too.

This time however I'll post this one..technically spoken not perfect. Green color to the right at the animal... (probably from some green leave or maybe more plausible the 'fence'). I started with cloning but I canceled. No cropping at all...

This wonderful species came right at me and believe me I 'waited', pushed the button and jumped back over the water and ran...to some kind of safety.

I wasn't provoking or something. I just wanted to make a good picture of this animal I admire. But I don't think he got the picture. Now I'm convinced these animals are wonderful creatures but if you ever think about photographing them in the wild and he's is coming for you...you will run but not escape!

In fact there are two snow leopards in this place.
They look both very similar to me except for one thing.
The one depicted here has no problem but the other has an eye problem. It is really not a pleasant sight to see such a wonderful animal having that kind of problem. I saw the problem through my 200mm and have it on photo.

This one really cares about the 'blind' one. Both were sitting not so far away from me. And I think the reaction here depicted was one of defending his partner. And the place where I was standing|-:?

To the 'hysterical' woman (women) yesterday... I'm still alive:-)

Hi Annick,
The green tint is a little strange, possibly some light reflected back off some water. That is a frame filling closeup. He looks like he was ready to take a bite out of you.

Bellissimo ritratto, Annick!
Ottimi i dettagli, peccato per la predominanza verde...

Ciao e grazie.

Hello Annick,
It looks like reflections from the grass to me, was there high grass anywhere near him? I agree with your note, you would never escape this animal in the wild, but of course he would only attack if you threatened him, otherwise he would just stay out of sight. It's nice to hear that he looks after the other one, and would probably fight to the death to defend him. An admirable quality. Anyway, a nice shot, good work to get him so close and on the move.
Regards,
Adrian

Hi Annick, brave shot and no camera shake! I think it's time to get that 600mm lens and 2x teleconverter before it's too late :-) Great work, can't help with the green problem but everything else is excellent. Well done and TFS.
Dean.

Excellent shot.
Nice colors. Brilliant expression.
I might have used a more square format.
