Another macro: the solitary digger bee "Andrena Vaga", photographed in Sclaigneaux, Belgium, with the Coolpix 990 out-of-the-box! This species has suffered a serious decline in 1999 due to its parasitoids: Nomada lathburiana and Bombylius major. I'll show you these species later on!

Fantastic capture Stephane. The details are amazingly good as well as the colours. This little lady has really been very busy with the pollen sacks almost full. Lovely tight cropping/composition. Excellent job - well done.
