Just noticed how the leaves of the nettle grow in pairs, each time rotated 90 degrees opposed to the under lying pair. Mathematics is everywhere!

Nice clear and sharp. Like the composition very much! This is a lovely shot, nice detail and beautiful colours and light.

Very well chosen cropping. Never seen such an attractive Nettle before ;-).
Thx for posting!

Hoi Frank,

Dit is een hele goeie en scherpe close-up van deze brandnetels. Mooie heldere kleuren, en het lichte groen geeft een mooi contrast tegen het donkergroen op de achtergrond.
Goed gezien en mooi geschoten!

I like the simplicity of this shot. It is a very common sight, but your treatment has made it both interesting and beautiful. I especially like how the nettle divides the shot into darker and lighter halves.

Hi Frank,
a perfect shot of a plant we see and ignore every day. I was surprised to see how the leaves are arranged. The colours are great, even so is the sharpness. Good details and a really good composition.
Thanks for sharing.
