What a beautiful panther!
Indeed the story you bring up here is very interesting - people usually make mistakes in distinguishing the speceis of panthers...so i really like the note on this one :)
The picture itsefl is great, with a shallow DOF and perfect focus on the eyes. The look you managed to capture is fantastic.
The tight close-up on the face really enhances the overall composition, too.
Great work!

belle photo,dommage que prise dans un zoo et que suivant le réglement tu ne l indique pas dans ton commentaire.il serait plus nature de faire des photos représentatives de la faune ou de la flore de ton pays.le zoo c est un peu facile pour avoir des points.

I see there were many true admirers at you. But I consider, that it is rather useful discussion. Such point of view is also lawful - the good photo in itself promotes education of love to the nature.

Excellent portrait. But I all the same remain the adherent of the smaller values of aperture. TFS and my best wishes.

he is a real beauty and you have done well to fill the frame with this shot.the detail looks good and the eyes are great, slight burn out on the left whiskers but that dose,nt detract from the shot. nice work
